Tonight's Mega Millions jackpot is 290 million dollars. That's a lot of moolah. If you took a lump-sum payment you'd see about 200 million of that, and then taxes would leave you with about half of what you started with. Give or take a few million.
What would you buy if you came into a windfall like that?
The Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots are both in 9-digit territory for this weekend's drawings. Both games that we are able to play in Michigan are well above 100 million dollars to a single winner.
Powerball is at 125 million for Saturday night's drawing. Mega Millions is at a whopping 173 million for tomorrow night (Friday).
