Over the next few weeks, people will be traveling near and far to spend time with their families for the holidays. This begs the question, how long is too long to stay with relatives. A new survey has the answers.
The Burton Fire Department is doing a holiday food drive to try and provide for the less fortunate families in our community. Their goal is to make sure that families have a holiday meal at Christmastime. They are collecting non-perishable food items every Saturday through December 15th. There is also a little something for you if you donate.

Got maple syrup? A hearty appetite? National Pancake Week continues through Saturday (Feb 25). Originally the celebration surrounds Shrove or Pancake Tuesday. My take on this is a week-long celebration of Fat Tuesday. It is also geared to recognize the history and continuing popularity of pancakes.
