It's a hoax and we fell for it, too.

It's the age-old adage that we've all heard - if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

We honestly hope you're not gullible enough to try this, but at least you can't say we didn't warn you!

It was reported last week that there was a mother who was letting the internet vote to decide the name of her child. There was of course a price for the naming rights -$5,000. It has now been disclosed that the company holding the contest was at the center of the hoax.

The student whose December 19th prank caused much of the Grand Blanc school district to go in to lock down has been charged.  The 15-year old is being charged as a juvenile, so the name will not be released. Law enforcement was on high alert because the prank happened just days after the horrific shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

In late December, Russian officials reported the capture of a  Bigfoot-like creature. Turns out that the “animal” was just a person inside a costume. Could it be that it was just a hoax to hide the truth about Bigfoot?
