Their first ever Road Rally raised much needed funds for the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.

It was supposed to open last fall, but the date was pushed.

The fundraiser, called "12 Weeks To Earn Your Halo" runs through September 26th.

With all the hype surrounding Halo Burger's free Boston Cooler giveaway, I wanted to know more about this tasty treat.  Much to my surprise, it has nothing to do with Boston, Massachusetts whatsoever.  In fact, most people that live in Boston have never heard of it.

Halo Burger has been a Flint icon for decades, and the family tradition continues.  The Thomas family sold the restaurant chain back in December to the Dortsch family. Familiar with the Halo Burger legacy, the new owners will move forward with the same delicious products developed and perfected by Bill Thomas.
