What's been happening Flint for far too long is nothing less than a tragedy. But sadly, more and more communities are finding problems with what's coming out of the tap.
Since the state finally acknowledged the problem, the big question on the minds of every Flint resident has been 'When will the lead pipes be replaced?'
Last Thursday, Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders was in Flint at Woodside Church to discuss the water crisis. All of the candidates were invited, but Sanders was the only one that scheduled himself to appear.
The outpouring of support for the residents of Flint has been tremendous on a local and national level. But even people that have been affected by the water emergency are trying to help out their neighbors.
It was no surprise to us that Flint's former Emergency Financial Manager Darnell Earley would be a show for today's hearing on Capitol Hill. But the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform was outraged.
