Some sad news out of Dallas this morning. Larry Hagman, the man who made us all love to hate J.R. Ewing, lost his battle with cancer yesterday (Friday, November 23rd), at the age of 81. He was surrounded by his family and friends when he passed peacefully in a Dallas Hospital.
The TV show Dallas debuted in 1978 as a miniseries. Due to it's popularity it became one of the longest running prime time drama series in TV history. But the story didn't end in 1991, it continues tonight on TNT!

A lot of personal video coming out of the Dallas, Texas area since Tuesday's tornadoes. What got my attention about this video is the man recording it. His name is Vincent Tang. He is standing outside praying to God to keep the twister away from his house as it heads ever closer toward him.

Living here in Michigan does have its advantages. We do get tornadoes here but not as big or as often as places like Texas and Oklahoma. I lived in Dallas ,Texas for a few years and when it was tornado season you knew it.
The Dallas/Fort Worth area was hit Tuesday leaving most counties in the northern part of the state under a tornado watch.
