Yes I know you can't drive this in the Rolling Cruise with Back To The Bricks. After you watch the video I'm sure you'll agree that it is as unusual as some of the cars you'll see in Flint this weekend. Take a look for yourself.

I put my Pine Wood Derby racer together last night at Thomas Appliance in Grand Blanc. It's free to kids 18 and under.  Yea I know I'm not 18, they made a special exception for me because I started to act up. You can get yours there this afternoon starting at five.

Thousands upon thousands of people flock to Flint every year to experience "Back To The Bricks," and this year promises to be the biggest yet! For those of you who are visiting Flint for the first time, we have come up with five things that you have to do while in Vehicle City!

We had a blast at last year's 'Bricks Flicks!"  The feature was "Back To The Future," and several DeLoreans lined the front of the screen.  Tonight's film will be the original 'Footloose,' and I am sure there will be plenty of feet at the US-23 Drive-In on Fenton Road.

Back to the Bricks in downtown Flint means all sorts of fun for the entire family. Here's a schedule of all the fun this week.

Fenech Pictures There is no doubt that Back to the Bricks has become one of, if not he biggest event in Flint.  I am pleased to announce that this year's events have already begun!

We hope you and your family had a chance to be a part of Back to The Bricks this year. It's shaping up to be a record year for attendance, despite the Saturday night rain out. We did something a little different this year at Cars 108. Our video department was out all week with a camera catching all the action of Back To The Bricks 2011. Take the jump and see if you're in our video.

Police officials say that they may add a special curfew for minors at next year's "Back to the Bricks" event. A fight in downtown Flint on Friday night that resulted in 22 arrests is the catalyst for the possible changes.  Two different fights were reported. One was outside the McCree courts building, and there was also a smaller fight near Halo Burger that led to two additional arrests.

There were many events going on throughout Mid-Michigan on Saturday, and many of them ended prematurely.  Severe Storms rolled through the area prompting several severe weather warnings, and dropping as much as five inches of rain in some spots in a very short period of time.

We've been out this week during Back to the Bricks for the rolling cruises and the million dollar motorway party at Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy. There have been some really cool cars to look at so we wanted to highlight a few of our favorite ones. Hopefully you've had a chance to take advantage of this great event.

The City of Burton earlier this afternoon adjusted the hours of this evenings "Back to the Bricks" cruise along Saginaw street. The cruise tonight will shut down at 9pm sharp according to local police. Crowds have been even larger than expected and police are concerned for the safety of everyone on the cruise, and those large crowds settled in along the side of the road.

Back to the Bricks kicked off Tuesday with Bricks Flicks so if you haven't had a chance to check out the event, you'll have another chance today. There will be another rolling cruise tonight on Saginaw Street and you can look for Rod and I as we take the Cars vehicle around town. There's also going to be plenty of entertainment the next few days.
