Currently NASA is watching an asteroid that could be as large as the Empire State Building.

It won't be doomsday, but an asteroid as big as an aircraft carrier will pass Earth tomorrow evening, darting between the Earth and the moon. It will be the closest encounter by such a huge asteroid in more than 35 years.
