Michigan didn't make the top ten, but we're 12th. So there's not a lot to celebrate.

A guy in Nevada just won $300,000 in a civil lawsuit after cops beat him while he was going into diabetic shock because they thought he was drunk. When cops approached his car, they started kicking on his car, pulled him out and start assaulting him. Cops shouldn't have beaten him even if they did think he was drunk. A Michigan woman was sentenced to 46 months in prison for biting off the tip of some guy's nose. The guy was left permanently disfigured, as she plead guilty to a charge of assault, resulting in serious bodily injury. The two were on an Indian reservation when a fight broke out and she bit off the tip of the guy's nose, cut him with a knife and hit him with a lamp...

In Avril Lavigne‘s words: What the hell? On Nov. 6, TMZ reported that the punky popster was in a fight with five other girls at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. Apparently, her boyfriend Brody Jenner also got involved, and both Lavigne and her ‘Laguna Beach’ boo were seriously injured.
