Anniversary

RUFIO! RUFIO!!!!!

Aside from the terrible attempt at CPR (thank goodness it was on mannequins!), we had a fantastic time at STAT EMS on Friday!

On the third anniversary of the Boston Marathon, the city of Boston is collecting items to send to our city.

The important thing is that no matter what obstacles we faced, we made it through together!

It's our fifth wedding anniversary, and we can't stop laughing about the fact that the gift is supposed to be WOOD. We're immature.

Jeremy is trying to top an anniversary gift that he gave his wife two years ago. She thought it was hilarious, but it still leaves a bad taste in the mouths of some Cars 108 listeners.

A memorial service is planned for tomorrow, November 10th, to remember the 29 men who died when the SS Edmund Fitzgerald sank in Lake Superior in 1975. The ceremony from 6-8pm will also offer the chance to see artifacts and photographs of the ship. The event is held in River Rouge, Michigan because that is the city where the vessel was built.

It's been almost ten years since the attacks on the World Trade Center that changed America forever.  Since then, those who have lost family and friends on that horrific day have had no place to remember their fallen loved ones.  All of that is about to change.

My wife and I celebrate our sixth wedding anniversary today.  I decided to write her a heart-felt poem as a gift.  She didn't know anything about it until I read it to her on the air this morning while she was driving to work. Listen to the poem after the jump!

Can you believe it's been two years since Michael Jackson's tragic death?  It seems like it was just yesterday. Today, mourning fans placed flowers and candles on his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Check out the sweet medley done as a tribute to the King of Pop after the jump!
