Who's sick of Super Bowl commercials? Yeah, me too! But that's not stopping me. Matthew Broderick's Honda ad has been made even better with a split screen and some creative editing. It's a side-by-side comparison between the the 1986 movie 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off,' and this year's 'Matthew's Day Off.' I promise, this is the LAST Super Bowl commercial. I'm swearing them off until next year! Read

Naysayers claim the ad's use of an Asian woman speaking broken English is offensive and racist. Take a look for yourself

Even if you use TiVo to skip through the commercials, you still get blasted by them if you don't dive for the remote quite fast enough. That will change about a year from now when the FCC's new rules go into effect, stipulating that TV commercials can't be louder than the programming. Now if they would just introduce a rule to make TV commercials less obnoxious!

What's up with that, Cheese Heads? Some say we should view it as a compliment.  Watch the video, and let us know if you think it's flattering, or a ripoff.

Watching the president's speech tonight jogged my memory.  He spoke of technology, and bringing the Internet to rural areas.  There was mention of what will be possible in the future. Sound familiar?  This reminded me of AT&T's "You Will" campaign, from 1993.  Except for the phone booths, these  predicted the future rather accurately, didn't they? Click
