There are so many amazing places to stay on Lake Michigan but if you're looking for a specific spot where you can stay with a group of people and not have to sleep under the same roof, I think I've got it for you.

Check out Chalet on the Lake in Stevensville, Michigan. I've never been to this place but it looks really cool especially if you want to plan a large get-together like a family reunion or something like that.

I don't know how many chalets they have at this resort but as you can tell in the photos, there's a lot.

Chalet on the Lake:

Chalet on the Lake is a resort that is spread out on 36 acres directly on Lake Michigan with a private beach, fishing pond, two swimming pools, a wading pool for kids, shuffleboard, basketball, horseshoes, and tennis. The Chalet on the lake has everything. Each Chalet is outfitted with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath and can accommodate up to 6 guests. There are two units in each Chalet so as each unit sleeps 6, each Chalet sleeps 12.

The cost varies depending on the chalet that you choose. On Airbnb, chalet #1 goes for $233 per night but on the website, the price seems a little higher. I'm sure it's going to cost you more if you pick one that sits directly on Lake Michigan. Again, it just depends on the chalet. It's pretty inexpensive though if you have multiple people splitting the cost.

One thing to keep in mind, pets aren't allowed.
