Roadkill Deer Really Not Dead-What A Surprise!

The report of this deer's death by the side of the road were greatly exagerated! What a surprise!

For the animal in question, it might have been a bit of a shock too. Hit by a car and then coming back to consciousness in somebody's trunk is enough to cause some concern, especially for the motorist driving the car. It happened in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The motorist believed the deer to be dead and was met by a Public Safety Officer to verify the kill and tag it. But obviously the deer had only been knocked unconscious because when they opened the trunk the deer was ready to run, as soon as he could make his way out of the trunk. It's kind of like a big fish story of the one that got away. Try making your buddies believe this one.
