Boy Marries 62-Year-Old Woman [VIDEO]

I take every opportunity possible to remind my wife that she's a few years older than me. (Hey look, I did it again!) But that's nothing compared to this story from South Africa.

Nine-year-old Sanele Masilela claims his dead ancestors told him to marry 61-year-old Helen Shabangu. Although most people in his village find the pairing to be sickening, it's said that his family took the message from the heavens seriously, and shelled out the money for the boy to marry the already-married mother of five.

Barcroft TV reports that the marriage is not legal, and the two do not live together. The wedding was symbolic, and the ceremony was performed to please the boy's deceased ancestors.
