Mother of Teen With BAL of .43 Opens Up About Almost Losing Her Daughter [VIDEO]

Kelliee Jo Nelson almost lost her daughter to alcohol poisoning. Taylor and her cousin raided the liquor cabinet one Friday night, and within two hours she had consumed two beers, six shots, and a handful of alcohol-soaked blueberries. Before the night was over, Taylor was on life support, with a .43 blood alcohol level -- over five times the legal limit.

Doctors told Nelson that if Taylor had been found just ten minutes later, the teen probably would have died. Kelliee and Taylor appeared on a recent episode of 'The Doctors' to share their story, and warn others about the grave dangers of binge drinking.
