Michigan Sues Clothing Bin Operator Over Deceptive Practices [VIDEO]
Take a second look before you drop clothing and shoes into bins which are assumed to be run by charitable organizations.
Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette is suing Texas-based American Textile Recycle Service (ATRS) which has bins throughout the state bearing the Michigan Humane Society logo.
Schuette's office tells WDIV that in 2016 just 6% of the $835,000 in revenue generated by the bins went to the Michigan Humane Society.
