Local Dairy Queen is Back Open, Lapeer Rejoices

The day has finally come, the Lapeer Dairy Queen is back!

After a January fire that had the Dairy Queen in Lapeer filled with smoke and months of cleaning and upgrades, just like a phoenix rising from the ashes, the 'Queen' is back. I have to say it was a pretty sad day when Dairy Queen had to shut down. All of Lapeer was freaking out! Well, now are dark days are over. As of Thursday (5/19), your favorite hang out for delectable treats is ready for you to bust into their doors and buy all the ice cream cakes you can handle.

The Lapeer Dairy Queen is back up and running cranking out all the treats you have missed. I, for one, will be grabbing an Oreo blizzard as soon as possible. So, let's toast to the good life and enjoy the blizzards, Lapeer!
