Free Family-Friendly Event in Saginaw Features Food, Books, Activities, and More

A free family-friendly event is happening in Saginaw this month. The day will feature limited free food, books for kids, family resources, and more.

Mobile Monday will be held at the George Olson Recreation Complex at 3120 North Center Road in Saginaw, from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

According to WNEM TV-5, the event is being organized by FACT 989READS in partnership with the Saginaw Public Libraries.

Families can take advantage of quite a few free offerings at the event, including books for kids and pizza for up to 50 children. Free family essentials, take-home meal bags, and fresh produce will also be available while supplies last.

There will also be youth art and engagement activities, along with opportunities for families to connect with community resources, programs, and services. Students will also have the opportunity to learn more about free checking accounts.

This event sounds like an awesome resource for the community. There will be one in Genesee County on Monday, September 21st, 2026, at the FACT Genesee Hub in Flint.
