Michigan's own Kid Rock will be part of the inaugural celebration events this Sunday, January 19th, 2025 in Washington DC.

The announcement is unsurprising as the superstar has been a vocal supporter of Donald Trump for many years. The pair have been photographed together at UFC Fights, golfing, and even at the White House.

According to AXIOS, in addition to Kid Rock, Donald Trump picked the following musical acts to perform at the upcoming inaugural events,

  • The Village People (Inaugural Rally on Sunday)
  • Billy Ray Cyrus (Inaugural Rally on Sunday)
  • Rascal Flatts (Inaugural Ball on Monday)
  • Jason Aldean (Inagural Ball on Monday)

Carrie Underwood will perform 'America the Beautiful' at the inauguration ceremony, and Lee Greenwood will sing 'Proud to Be an American.'

As a total sidenote, I remember arguing with a classmate in high school over what our senior class song would be. He wanted 'Proud to Be an American,' and I wanted a hair band song (possibly Bon Jovi).  What I do remember, is my song suggestion won the votes.

I digress. I could not find information on music performances (other than Carrie Underwood on Monday, January, 20th, 2025) airing on television. If you are interested, I am quite sure the footage will be available somewhere on social media during or after the performances.

Just for fun, if you were elected president, what band or performer would you pick to perform at your inauguration ceremony? I'll go first, I pick Ironsnake - they rule!
