A Lake Orion, Michigan, woman has been taken into custody after allegedly striking 11 or more people with her Jeep.

The incident occurred on Friday, September 26, 2025, in Warren. The driver, 30-year-old Rachele Ricklefs, allegedly drove her Jeep into 11 people, including a police officer. Two of the victims were struck in the parking lot of a Walmart at 29176 Van Dyke Avenue.

According to FOX 2 Detroit, Rachele Ricklefs had two children in the vehicle, a 12-year-old and a 6-year-old. Reports say the 12-year-old was able to get out, but the 6-year-old was still inside the Jeep at the time of her arrest.

Can you believe it? Ricklefs is currently being held in jail on a $750,000 bond and is facing multiple charges, including the following,

  • Assault with Intent to Murder
  • Child Abuse
  • Fleeing Police
  • Malicious Destruction
  • Assault With a Dangerous Weapon

If she does make bail, Ricklefs will be under house arrest, and she will be required to wear a tracking device.

There has not been a lot of information released about the victims. I can hardly imagine randomly putting groceries in my car or walking down a street and getting hit on purpose. We sincerely wish the best for all the victims involved.

As for Rachele Ricklefs, she is scheduled to appear in court again in early October 2025, where she is expected to face further legal proceedings related to the incident.

We will continue to follow this case closely and provide updates as additional details become available from law enforcement and court proceedings.

11 Things You Should Never Buy From a Michigan Gas Station

Michigan’s gas stations are super convenient. You’re stopping to fill up anyway, so why not grab a few things while you’re there? But not everything on those shelves is a smart buy. Some items are overpriced, low quality, or just plain bad for you.
