After 10 Years, This Grand Blanc Restaurant Might Be Coming Back
Over the years, we've watched restaurants come and go in Genesee County, but rarely do we see one disappear only to return 10 years later. Well, that’s what it sounds like is happening with a once-popular steakhouse that suddenly closed back in 2015.
At the time, the closure caught many residents off guard. The owners cited ongoing frustrations and failed negotiations with the Grand Mall’s landlord as the reason they had to shut their doors. I bet you know where I'm going with this, don't you?
That’s right, rumor has it this local favorite might be making a big comeback in Grand Blanc.

What Grand Blanc Restaurant Might Be Coming Back?
Word on the street is that, nearly a decade later, Luca's Chophouse could be reopening in a new location. Again, there’s been no official statement, but sources close to us say it’s happening.

Luca's Chophouse was located in the Grand Mall before closing on August 30, 2015.
Where Will Luca's Chophouse Open Its New Location?
If the rumors are true, Luca's Chophouse will be moving into what will soon be the former location of DaEdoardo North. In case you missed it, DaEdoardo announced its closure back in April. The restaurant will officially close with a huge celebration on Friday, June 13.
While it’s sad to see DaEdoardo go, we’re happy to hear the building won’t be sitting vacant for long.
It’s still unclear when (or if) Luca’s Chophouse will officially move in and start serving those killer steaks again. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait too long.
