A very typical and common plant you should avoid here in Michigan.
Poison Oak
Similar to poison ivy, you will find this plant fairly common here in Michigan.
Wild Parsnip
This plant here is fairly toxic, in fact the sap from it, can give you phytophotodermatitis. In English, it will cause an irritable blister and make you more sensitive to the suns rays.
Poisonous Hemlock
This isn't the most dangerous plant here in Michigan, but it does rank up there. If you were to touch this plant without the proper protections, you could experience dizziness, trembling, paralysis, and even death in some cases.

Giant Hogweed
While it made the list and is the most dangerous plant here in Michigan, you don't have a ton to worry about. Very luckily, the plant isn't very common here in Michigan. However, you couldn't mistake it if you saw it.
Giant hogweed can grow up to 8-12 feet tall and has huge flower heads.
Similar to poisonous hemlock, this plant could cause phytophotodermatitis top of that, it could cause permanent or temporary blindness if the plant comes into contact with your eyes.
This plant is actually illegal to sell or transport, so it is best to avoid it if possible.
