Why didn't I think of this? A couple of years ago, I was stranded (dramatic much?) on a stalled Amtrak train for several hours because of a fire near Battle Creek. Rather than paying outrageous prices for the food in the dining car, I should have ordered a pizza! Drat!

Passenger Mitchell Katz had his thinking cap on, and placed an order to Domino's while after his train from New York to Washington D.C. was stalled for mechanical reasons. Katz caught it on video when delivery man Jim Leary approached the train Sunday evening.

Leary says he cut through a backyard, navigated a steep embankment and jumped over a water-filled ditch while balancing two pizzas. But it paid off -- the hangry passengers kicked in a total of $32 in tips.
