Grand Blanc Students Helped Out in Medical Emergency – The Good News

Quick thinking and fast action likely saved a life yesterday at Brendel Elementary School.

Big thanks to Grand Blanc Community Schools for letting us share this photo - this would've been one of those things that we would never have known about if they didn't post it.

At Brendel Elementary yesterday, a student had a medical emergency. No word on what it was, but the students are pictured next to an AED, so I think it's fair to assume that it was serious. The student's friends realized that something was wrong and immediately got help.

All four of them were recognized by their principal, Mrs. Goetz and district nurse consultant Rachel O'Mara. Nice job, kids!!
