Fourth Grader Suspended After Threatening Teacher on Social Media [VIDEO]
A fourth grade student in suburban Detroit has been suspended after making a threat against a teacher on Snapchat.
Superintendent of Grosse Pointe Public Schools, Dr. Gary Niehaus, tells WXYZ the student became upset over a classroom assignment.
Police visited the student and his parents at their home and were assured that there was no weapon in the house. Authorities are confident that the threat should not be considered credible, but always take such threats seriously.
The student remains suspended, and no determination about if and when he'll return to school has been made.
