We're just over two weeks away from Halloween and we now have the times for trick-or-treating this year.

For many, including me, Halloween is the best holiday of the year. Sure, Christmas gifts are great and Thanksgiving dinners are awesome, but Halloween and Halloween candy beat them out. Kids get to dress up and have fun and parents get to enjoy candy and decorate the house.

For those of you that are still planning on hitting the streets safely this year, here is a list of trick-or-treating times for the mid-Michigan area. Mind you, all of these times are for October 31st as Halloween is finally on a Saturday this year.

I can't wait for Halloween this year! It's a Saturday and we also gain an hour of spookyness that night with the time change. Also, a friendly reminder to those parents out there. If you want to become one of the "cool houses" for Halloween, it's not just about decorations. Spend a few extra dollars on full-size or king-size candy bars for the kids and don't forget to have a few extra adult beverages for the adults when they come by as well.
