How does it happen that a dog shot its owner in the leg with the owner’s gun? The story comes from Florida and it doesn't sound like a story of man's best friend, does it?

Here is the story: The victim was driving when the dog inadvertently knocked the gun to the floor, it discharged and shot 35-year-old Gregory Lanier in the leg, Officially it was listed as an accident.
