Customer Leaves Huge Tip to Help Staff After Dine-in Service Halted [VIDEO]

A generous customer left a $9,400 tip at his favorite restaurant, knowing that the next several weeks are going to be especially hard on the wait staff.

Many states, including Michigan, have halted dine-in service, allowing restaurants to only serve food via take-out and drive-thru windows.

The ban has also been implemented in Houston, Texas which is home to Irma's Southwest Restaurant where the anonymous diner left the tip.

The receipt included a handwritten note which said, "Hold tip to pay your guys over the next few weeks."

Each staff member at the restaurant will get about $300, according to KTRX-TV.
