There are many living legends in Flint known for many things. I could have gone have in a lot of different directions when picking my top five local living legends; I choose to keep it upbeat and positive. Here are my top five picks for Flint’s living legends. Who would you have picked?

There are so many options to choose from in the Flint area on the Fourth of July weekend. I literally could fill an entire page of great events that happen surrounding our community, but I thought I would just give you my top five picks on how you could spend your July 4th weekend...

!  Last week's episode of The Bachelorette was ridiculous.  Ashley sets up a comedy date and asks each guy to roast her.  Not only did a couple guys roast her, they toasted her as well.

Summer has not even officially arrived and we are already in the middle of a record-breaking heat wave to welcome summer in Flint.

Well, that was fast.  Does Nikki Reed have any taste at all?  I cannot believe that she would agree to marry only after a few months of dating, let alone agree to marry Paul McDonald.  What is she thinking? Sources for E! Online have confirmed that former 'American Idol' contestant Paul McDonald and 'Twilight' star Nikki Reed are engaged after just a few months of dating.

The end is here and I don't mean the "end of the world", I mean the end of this season of American Idol.

Well, it's been quite the season on American Idol and it all ends Wednesday night.  As I look back on the show, I have determined that it has been a season of "firsts".

I really have to say it out loud....REALLY, AMERICA?  I just cannot believe that Lauren is in the finals on American Idol!

For those of you who have been through getting a daughter ready for prom, you know just how I feel right now, the "day after"... relief, broke and very proud!

We hear "who's in it to win it", Randy's new mantra every week on American Idol.  This week is the only week I am actually asking myself that exact question.

Okay, I know I have taken a couple weeks off in protest of Pia going home on American Idol.  I have now decided that everything that has frustrated me this season has nothing to do with the contestants and everything to do with the judges.

Who is with me?  I am so glad that Paul has been voted off American Idol.  I thought from the beginning of the season that he just did not have what it takes to be be the last man standing.
