Another Long-Running TV Show Enters Its Final Season

“COPS” will begin its 25th season on December 15th, but the Wall Street Journal says it’s possible this will be its final season.

Fox hasn’t made a decision on the show’s future, but they have cut back on the number of episodes this season to make room for sports, and the show’s co-creator John Langley says its future on Fox is, quote, “uncertain and problematic.”

He adds that if Fox does dump the show, he’d consider moving it to cable. “COPS” is the longest-running entertainment show on prime-time network TV, and it will air its 850th episode this season.
