Lisa Brown didn't take it as a compliment when Comcast changed her husband's name from Ricardo to A--hole on their cable bill. (See the NSFW pic below.)

The Spokane, Washington woman tells consumer advocate Christopher Elliot that her family was having financial difficulties, so she contacted Comcast to alter her service. She insists that she was never rude, even after being forced to speak with a customer retention specialist.

Comcast says they're really, really sorry.

“We have spoken with our customer and apologized for this completely unacceptable and inappropriate name change,” he said. “We have zero tolerance for this type of disrespectful behavior and are conducting a thorough investigation to determine what happened. We are working with our customer to make this right and will take appropriate steps to prevent this from happening again.”

Elliot reports that Comcast has granted the Browns a partial refund for their service.
