YouTube Star Lures Teens via Social Media in Scary Video [VIDEO]

This video literally made my heart skip a beat...and it also made me thankful that I'm not the parent of a teenage girl.

Of course, this could happen with either a girl OR a boy, but either way, it's terrifying.

Coby Persin is a YouTube star who recently saw a story about a Los Angeles father who watched his 12-year-old daughter being kidnapped by a grown man. “That’s how I got the idea that people needed to be educated,” Persin told Yahoo Parenting. “I always get my ideas from real life, so I made this video because I wanted to spread awareness.”

Some people are saying that it's "mean" for parents to dupe their children into this situation, and that it breaks trust between the child and the parent. Personally, I think this was a very important message for the parents to get across. What do you think?
