We have a feeling that Claressa is going to need more room on her awards shelf as the honors keep rolling in.

Flint's own Olympic Gold winning Boxer, Claressa Shields, was honored at the 37th Annual Salute to Women in Sports Gala from the Women's Sports Foundation last night in New York City. Shields was awarded the Individual Sportswoman of the Year award.

So, what is next for Shields? She told the Associated Press:

I'm back in the gym, trying to figure out what's the best move next. I'm taking my time with that. I have a couple of different options. I can go pro or stay amateur for 2020.

Either way, I'm sure Shields will continue to stack up the honors and awards. I look forward to seeing what's next.
