The Aflac Duck will quack again.  The insurance company is replacing Gilber Godfried, who supplied the duck's voice for many years, but got fired when he ran afoul on his Twitter account.  You can see the tweets that landed Godfried in hot water here.

The New York Times reports that Aflac is teaming up with Monster.com to audition new voices.  Today, they'll begin airing a silent commercial from 2005 with a title card at the end that reads, "Be the next voice.  Go to Aflac Duck on Facebook."

The insurer is holding an open casting call for the mascot that will kick off Wednesday with a prime-time commercial, a Monster job listing and a new Web site.

Information on Aflac's Facebook page will explain the details of the competition.
