As we approach the end of the Mayan calender, and the end of the world as we know it (if you believe in that sort of thing), or if you just like the idea of owning a 13 ton truck that can survive any kind of natural disaster, I have something to show you! Follow the link to check it out.

Jim DeLozier, from Orange County, California built the ultimate survivor truck to withstand any type of natural disaster. It runs on gasoline and propane, and is equipped with gas masks, night vision cameras and self contained breathing machines. The custom truck also comes with its' own water filtration system and is stocked with enough dried food to last a family of four two years.

What you see in the video is a prototype. Each truck is custom built. Prices start at $100,000 and go up to $600,000 depending on the options that are ordered.

Do you think that people who are 'prepping' for the end of the world or some sort of catastrophic event are just a little crazy?
