Last weekend as Sandy prepared to wreak havoc along eastern seaboard, the numbers at the box office were down significantly. This weekend the numbers were up, and Disney's "Wreck-It Ralph" took the top spot in ticket sales.

Not only that, but the flick pulled in 49.1 million dollars making it the highest-grossing animated feature in the history of Disney.

If you're a fan of classic video games or the new ones, this movie is for you!  We took the kids on Saturday and were delighted with the movie. Not only did it feature characters that I grew up with on my Atari, like the ghost from Pac-Man and Q*bert, but foes like Bowser from the Super Mario Bros. franchise, and Sonic the Hedgehog's villain, Dr. Eggman, also have cameos.

I went looking online this morning to see if "Fix-It Felix, Jr." was an actual video game, or fabricated for the movie. The answer to that question is yes... on both counts. While it was created for the movie and designed to look like a game from the early 80s, you can actually play the game here.

Featuring an amazing cast of great voices including John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer, Jane Lynch, Adam Corolla and more, this is a very well-done, entertaining and hilarious movie for kids of all ages.
