A Wisconsin company that makes bulletproof glass gave its employees handguns for Christmas this year.

BenShot, a company out of Hortonville, Wisconsin, has given its workers a "Christmas bonus" of shorts - a handgun for every employee.

The business, which is owned by a father-son duo, opened in 2015. They have 16 full-time employees, including a few veterans. They said that this is the first time they've ever done something like this.

Some of the employees said that they feel empowered with the gift; two employees declined their guns but are considering taking a gun safety class before they accept.

I mean, I suppose it's appropriate that they make bulletproof glass. And if you don't want it, they're not gonna fire you. Personally, I'd rather have a cash bonus. What about you?
