Would You Believe A Bear In A Hammock? [Video]

No...this is not a corny intro to a really bad joke!

You would be tired too!

After several days of knocking over trash cans, rummaging trough bird feeders for food and scaring the pants in a Daytona Beach neighborhood, a Florida Black Bear needed someplace comfy for a nap.

The spot he picked to watch his eyelids was a hammock in the backyard of a house on Greenbiar Circle. "He got in the hammock like he was a tourist or something," said Vincent James, the homeowner. "Then something spooked him and he ran right back there. The half an hour later I come back and I saw there he is in the hammock again."

Rafeal Torres, a neighborhood photographer, captured some great photos. He says he got within 60 feet of the reclining bear and the bear was not bothered at all by his presence. He let Torres take pictures for about 20 minutes, and then ended the photo shoot by running back into the woods.
