Woman Steals From Courthouse Fountain – Money Doesn’t Belong To Anybody, She Says [Video]

Tough times call for desperate measures, I guess.

Diedre Romine, an unemployed Ohio woman was desperate to feed her four cats. She made a decision to steal money that she says "doesn't belong to anybody." I hope the $2.87 the cops found in her pockets will cover her court fees!

Here's my problem with this crime. Did everyone who threw a coin into the fountain make a wish, and if they did, did Diedre steal them when she took the change?

On a happier note, concerned citizens in her town have started fundraisers to help Diedre and her cats.
