Someone in our area has a fortune waiting for them, but their chance to claim it ends today.

Is it you?

Michigan Lottery officials say that the person holding a winning Mega Millions lottery ticket purchased on March, 29, 2013 has not yet stepped forward to claim their jackpot. That ticket was purchased in Flint, at the South End Market at 1701 S. Saginaw Street.

That person matched the first five numbers, but not the Mega Ball. Even without the Mega Ball match, the lottery ticket is worth $250,000. The winning numbers are 25, 31, 36, 46, and 53. Again, the winning Gold Mega Ball number of 21 was not a match.

If the ticket is not cashed, the money goes to the school aid fund and the South End Market also loses a $2,000 payment from the state.

If you have the ticket, or know someone who might...that $250,000 needs to be claimed n person, in Lansing no later than 4:45pm today (March 31).

Lottery officials will ask to see some sort of photo identification, such as a drivers license, and a social security card.
