Why Is The Smell At I-69 And Irish Rd Tanker Crash Site So Bad [VIDEO]
As you may remember the tanker hauling crude oil crashed back in January. The smell is worse now.
The smell has been there for a while..but not that bad because of the cold temps. With the warm weather starting to move into the area the smell begins to follow. Crews with Young's Environmental Cleanup have been working to clean the sewers in this area now that it's warmer outside. The brutal temps over the past several weeks made it tough for them to get out here.
They say people may notice a stronger odor now that crews are out. The bridge and the roads will have to be cleaned as well. They add that residents don't have to worry about the odor causing any health concerns.
If you live in Windsor Place Apartments in Davison Township the odor outside of the apartments is strong. Hang in there the smell will go away soon.
