‘Wheel of Fortune’ Apologizes for Unfortunate ‘Fast and the Furious’ Puzzle [VIDEO]

Pat Sajack and execs at ‘Wheel of Fortune’ are apologizing for the horrible timing of a puzzle that aired Monday night, just days after actor Paul Walker’s death. After Sajack gave the wheel a final spin, (video below) contestants revealed ‘The Fast and the Furious’.

Wheel called the incident an “Unfortunate coincidence,” on its Twitter page, and Sajack also issued an apology.

“Feel terrible about timing of ‘Fast & Furious’ puzzle tonight. Taped long ago & went out to 200 local stations days ago.”

The puzzle appeared on Monday night’s show which aired Monday night on about 200 affiliates, including WNEM TV-5.
