West Michigan Abduction Suspect May Now Be Preying on Mid Michigan Kids

Police in Battle Creek are searching for a man who has allegedly tried to abduct two children from area playgrounds. Now a grandmother in Owosso has reported on Facebook that the man may be preying on children in Mid Michigan.

Susan Rohde Place shared the information with the Friends and Community of Owosso page, saying that a man who matches the same description as the man in the sketch was seen at Bentley Park in Owosso, and that he attempted to abduct her grandchild.

Attempts to reach Ms. Place for more information were unsuccessful.

WOOD-TV in Grand Rapids reports that the man left the seen of one abduction attempt in a white van, and fled in a small black pickup truck the second time.
