If you think the weather in Michigan stinks , and it does right now, take heart! At least you're not an intern for The Weather Channel. They are working in a tornado...

The Weather Channel is currently celebrating Tornado Week, and to mark the occasion the station has created a tornado like atmosphere for it's interns to work in. Then, for every person that tweets #TornadoWeek, the wind power of the tweet controlled tornado gets a little bump. If they get 1,000,000 mentions, The Weather Channel promises to ramp the wind into a "full blown EF-5 tornado". All of this fun is being captured as a live stream, if you would like to play along.

Current wind speed at the intern desk is 119 mph.
