Pat and AJ are doing their morning show LIVE from downtown Flint at the weather ball!

It was lit for the first time on August 30th, 1956. It weighs about 5,000 pounds and measures 15 feet in diameter.

It's had many letters underneath it during its tenure over downtown Flint, and the newest are HB for Huntington Bank. Believe it or not, the ball itself remains untouched.

"When the weather ball is red, higher temperatures ahead.
When the weather ball is blue, lower temperatures are due.
Yellow light in weather ball means they’ll be no change at all.
When colors blink in agitation, there’s going to be precipitation."
