It's called Shigella, and you really don't want it.

The Genesee County Health Department has issued a warning to remind people to wash their hands because Shigella, a bacteria that can reek havoc in your intestinal tract, is on the rise in our area.

Symptoms include diarrhea, fever, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal cramping. In order to combat this bacteria, washing your hands is the most effective way to stop the spread that has already doubled within the State.
