WARNING: New Door-To-Door Scam Reported In Genesee County

We've been informed of a door-to-door scam in the Greater Flint area. We've got verified details that you need to share with your family, friends and neighbors.

Connie Peters, Development Director of Boys & Girls Club of Greater Flint, informed Cars 108 that an unauthorized solicitor claiming to be with the Boys & Girls Club has been scamming people out of money by selling candy bars in the local area.

Connie asked us to relay to you that if someone comes to your home soliciting for donations or selling candy on behalf of the club, please do not give them any money.  She continued by saying that "The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Flint does not do door-to-door solicitations."
