The Detroit Tigers don't have too many holes in their lineup as they prepare for Spring Training and the 2012 Major League baseball season. If you think you can play with the big boys, the Tigers will hold their annual spring tryout camp
on Monday, March 5th at the Tigertown Minor League complex in Lakeland, Florida.

The camp is for players 18 to 23 years of age, and usually draws undrafted college players and well as professionals
looking for another shot. The Tigers have actually signed players to minor league contracts out of this camp in the past.
Registration begins at Tigertown at 8 am, with the workout starting an hour later. Players should bring their own glove and workout equipment. The Tigers will provide wooden bats, helmets and baseballs.

The odds of someone making it to the Big Leagues from a tryout camp are pretty long, but it could happen. Too bad I'm a couple of years past the age cutoff. I'd love to hit behind Cabrera and Fielder.
