Cellphone video captured at a McDonald's drive-thru, supposedly at a Metro Detroit location, shows an employee taunting a homeless man. The employee summons the man to the window with a sandwich, but at the last second pulls the food away and throws a cup of water in the man's face.

The user who uploaded the video to LiveLeak indicates that the employee's action was in retaliation for the homeless man's actions earlier in the day, saying he had argued with a McDonald's customer.

PLEASE NOTE: The video contains offensive language and racially derogatory terms. It is not suited for all audiences.

According to Detroit's WJBK, the owner/operator of the Detroit McDonald's issued this statement:

"I am very disturbed by the inappropriate behavior of this employee. This type of behavior is not tolerated in my organization.  I expect my employees to treat everyone with dignity and respect, and this was unacceptable.  I am taking appropriate action with respect to this individual. "
-        Wise Finley, McDonald's franchisee

Multiple news outlets report that the McDonald's employee has since been fired.
