US Airman Home to Michigan Just in the Nick of Time Before Daughter’s Birth [VIDEO]

Brian Zoren made it home from the Middle East just in time to welcome his brand new baby girl, but there were a lot of bumps in the road along the way.

After several delayed flights and missed connections, Zoren finally made it to Detroit -- but as wife Larissa and the family headed out to meet him at Metro Airport, her water broke. Larissa, who was seven days overdue, went straight to the hospital. Brian was whisked there as well as soon as his plane landed.

"We had signs ready and everything to go pick him up and we were on our way to go get him but I had to go to the hospital instead," Larissa told WJBK.

Dad made it to the hospital just in time to welcome his his new baby girl Luna, who weighed in at 7 lbs., 8 oz. A very tired and very happy Zorren calls her the prettiest thing he's ever seen.
